It smells like cookies in here
Right now I'm doing my first batch of laundry since I got back from Japan and it is one big fat load, I definitely procrastinated too long. Ran out of underpants.
Christmas shopping is not done obviously.
Bro: Samurai sword.
Mom: Japanese quilt, a jewelry box and some chopsticks.
Dad: Drawing a blank here.
So far it's a Navy t-shirt and a couple CD's. Bro suggested an absinthe tower. It looks cool but he already has clutter at his bar and I am anti-clutter and I don't know if he wants any absinthe.
I'll be spending Christmas day alone, that sucks. Bro felt he needed jaw surgery in order to get tv jobs so he did that and therefore was not able to take off work for Christmas. We're all going to get together on the 28th or 29th instead, I haven't made any flight reservations so I need nice weather for the long drive and I might stay in the city on the way.
This year I made the rookie mistake of getting totally wasted at the work Christmas party. Apparently I was a lot of fun. Woke up the next day on somebody's couch, not a clue how I got there, felt like ASS. It was one of those oh shit what happened moments. It was like the movie The Hangover, there are pictures of us in a bar clearly having a blast, don't remember going to a bar.
Yesterday I made the best breakfast ever.
Scrambled eggs with sauteed onions and mushrooms and feta cheese sprinkled on top, biscuits and gravy and corned beef hash with the gravy covering that too, bacon, pancakes, and leftover beans from my delicious beans and cornbread recipe. No coffee. Haven't had a cup of coffee since last tuesday. It stains my teeth too much! But its sooo good. I don't know what to do about this situation. Right now my teeth are nice and white I want to keep it that way. Maybe if I brush my teeth immediately after drinking coffee(?) but the logistics of this seem ridiculous. It's exasperating.
Update on the laundry: Definitely dropped my socks and underwear on the ground while going for the dryer. This happens every single time. I am not pleased.

Your work Christmas Party sounds a lot like mine. I danced on tables. It seems a party is not over until someone dances on the tables and this time the dancer was I. LMAO
how does it feel to be back?Did you end up doing anything for Christmas? I am tired and sleepy and will use this weekend to catch up on all missed sleep!

Dancing on tables!!! I'm so proud of you, we would have been quite a pair this year. Everybody would have been jealous. Remember that time on the subway when we pretended that we just met each other and we started making out?
It feels great to be back but I do miss a lot of things about Japan. It was beautiful there, now back to the double wide. Only three months, then Florida.
I did nothing for Christmas, just hung out in the house, stayed warm. It is extremely cold outside. Tomorrow I'll hit the road, VA for New Year's!

Wait...so you finally admit that you own a double-wide? It takes a big man to admit such a thing! LOL

Will you be visiting any trailers on your way to VA? Bet the women would salivate over you in that car!
