Snowed In

I finally had it with that damn book, got mad and threw it against the wall and then in the garbage can where it belongs. There's a perfectly good Reacher book on my shelf, it's been waiting patiently.
Temperature was well below zero up here for the last week or so, today maybe not so cold but about a foot of snow so far and still going strong. The plow man just came through so I dug out my car and moved it out of his way, thought I'd head down to the store while I waited for him to plow my spot. I thought I could make it but no. Turned around, had to get a guy to push my car up the hill on the way back home. It's okay, I just needed food and drinks. I'll have water. At least there's no work tomorrow.

Ummm, why did you have to PUSH your car up the hill? Was it slipping all over? That sucks. What happened to the Caddy you were going to get?
How do you get to work?
We got some snow, and I hope we get more. I like the snow but I refuse to drive the little car in it. I drove it last week and tried to brake at a stop sign and the thing just slid right through!! WTF? I almost had a heart attack. Then I pressed the little button for slippery road and I felt better but still unsafe. I called Roy to drive the truck to me and made him take the VW home.
I figured I wanted to live and his life insurance would be nice. My plan didn't work out. He lived upstate. That means that he thinks driving the little car is fun because he can purposely make it skid all over the place. I can't do that and feel incompetent. I will have to find an empty parking lot and practice.
I can't make the truck skid because I have it in 4 wheel drive. I do drive over high piles of snow on purpose and park in spots where most cars can't. I love my truck. I used to hate, but I don't anymore. I think I will still trade it in at the end of the year for a new one. A pretty one. I want the Cayenne or the Touareg. Or the cute Lexus hybrid or the hybrid something else (I forgot the make, I think Suzuki maybe).
How are you?

I've been working a lot and staying busy. I might even go back in tonight, but I hope not because I want to watch Lost. Pizza and tv tonight, please. I haven't heard from you in a while, I missed you.
Yes that guy had to push my car because I was slipping so bad, I couldn't get my wheels to grip they were just spinning and my car preferred to go sideways instead of up the hill. And I can drive in the snow. The caddy guy came down 700 bucks, I need him to drop another 500 before I take it so I'm holding out. I heard about a dealer nearby that has some good deals so I'm going out there Friday afternoon. I wouldn't mind a truck.

So, what happened? Did you find a new truck?
I ran around this weekend and I wrote Lu's bio for the Cro festival. I have to hand it in tonight with her picture. I am taking her to meet with journalists tonight so they can interview her about signing and being multitalented. Luna is convinced that she will be a star and rich and famous, no matter what. She wants to model and is on top of me to take her to auditions. Ugh.

Anyway, we went to American Girl on Sat and she conned me into buying her a new itty baby (only $40) and a framed picture of her holding it (only $30). Ugh, I told her I am never taking her to the city again.

Okay I have no idea what we're talking about now. Signing what? I hope she doesn't get a big head with this modeling thing, I don't like it. Models do nothing.
I didn't buy a truck yet, but I did find a nice one. Still looking (between snowstorms) and trying to find somthing nice but cheap. The idea is I really don't want to hassle with selling it later, I'd rather just give it away when I'm done.
Lost is back on! Are you watching it? Last week's episode was confusing. Have fun at the Cro festival, darling.

I meant to write singing.
I am watching Lost and American Idol auditions.
I am sleepy and going to bed now. You haven't posted in a while - what's your excuse?

We went to the Croatian Chronicle to have an interview and have Luna's picture taken (because of the festival that will happen in April) and of course she was hamming it up for the camera. The woman kept saying: are you sure she never did this before???? It was hilarious. I am off to bed now.
