Lava Lamp

I wished for snow and it came. As I was walking to the train tonight the streets were slippery. No big deal, right? Wrong! Half a block from the train my knees gave out. Both, at the same time. I spent 20 min on my ass in the snow. There was burning pain in both my knees but I couldn't feel either of my legs below the knee so I couldn't get up. When finally some feeling came back it took three minutes to stand up. My right leg was/is ok but my left one is fucked up. I had to call Roy and Luna to pick me up from the train because I am unable to walk without assistance and I could not cross the street on my own! Tomorrow I have to wear my brace and I have a 9 am meeting which means I have to leave by 7:30. My knee really really hurts. I cried. Really cried like a baby while on the floor and on the subway. This is why I can't be in cold weather. I finally understand why people with arthiritis move to FL. How are you?

Oh no baby that miserable Roy is not taking proper care of you he should be driving you around not making you walk on the slippery roads in the snow I need to go down there and get you and take care of you. How do you feel this morning? I would rub your hurt legs all day if you like. I would have you NOT go to work, just stay at home with your feet up and I'd rub away all day only taking breaks to bring you things. I feel SO BAD! I do not do well with news that you've been crying this does not sit well with me. I want to give you a big hug and pick you up out of the snow. I hope you feel better today M and I hope everything is okay. I don't know what happened but I am sending you kisses to make you better because I love you always, that's how it is I'm afraid.

It was horrible today. I went to work and left early to see my dr. He sent me for Xrays to see if I fractured my kneecap. Seems my knee is still swollen. I don't think it's broken, I think it is just water but we'll see. I should know tomorrow.

What happened with the xrays? Do I need to come down there? I have lots of kisses for you.

It is not broken. I have water and pieces of cartiledge floating in there. it is still swollen. he gave me some anti swelling/anti pain medication I am taking and the swelling has already gone down some.

I feel horrible. I don't want to go to work tomorrow but I hafta. Sucks. I will go in and leave early and go get my hair done. that is my plan. We'll see if it works out. Roy is not home tonight and my nice neighbor offered to take Hannah out so she is living up at her walk.

I wish I could make you feel better but as they say in the Navy, wish in one hand and s*** in the other, see which fills up first. I don't know why I thought of that I hope you like it. I feel so bad that you feel bad! Really I don't like it. What in the world happened? I'm glad the medicine seems to be working for the swelling. What will happen to the cartilage that's floating in there? Will it just go away on it's own? You don't need surgery do you, I am going to freak if you need an operation. I will show up I am not lying. I miss you terribly I want you better.

I should have some type of knee surgery. They have to remove the cartiledge that's floating in there. I don't want to have it. Everyone I know who had knee surgery ended up being worse after. So maybe I will just suffer. I will see how long it takes to be better.

Umm, I am thinking of making bangs. I might try to get my hair done tomorrow (if I can keep my leg bent). What do you think about bangs? I asked Roy to photoshop a picture and add bangs to see what it would look like but he was too busy. roy sucks.

Yes he does I blame him for your knee and I'm not happy to see that he's too busy for you either I hate that guy seriously. I'm worried about knee surgery. Just make sure you get the best doctor, I want the best. I don't want you having more problems down the road, this is very important. I think bangs are sexy, but not if too short. I like it when they come down to your eyes, it's hot. Also I think you would be stunning no matter what you did, you know my feelings on this.

I am really worried about bangs. I never had them and if they look bad then I an screwed.

I will go today to color my hair and we will see what I do about bangs.

I am not sure about knee surgery either. My knee giving out was always a problem I just don't want to live with it anymore, I can't run or jump and now I can't walk in snow. Ridiculous.

I know it is risky, one good thing about leaving them long the way I like is they can grow back very quickly. Don't do it if you're too worried about it, the hairstyle you have in the last picture you sent me is very sexy. Very sexy. You're hot. I just want you to be happy baby.
