Party
I have to go to my work Christmas party tonight, the punishment for not going is you have to work tomorrow. Roads are icy. The forecast this morning was "ice pellets." That's a new one for me, I've seen sleet and hail and freezing rain, but never ice pellets. Gotta get into my suit now so I look good tonight even though I'd rather stay home.

I was looking sharp. There was a girl sitting at a table across the room with her friends, and she motioned me to come over, so I did. I tried to be charming, I have no idea what I was saying. I was nervous. Dinner was served, and I asked her to get me a plate... I didn't think she really would! She brought back a huge plate of food, and I ate every bit of it. She told me she was going out later that night, and even though we had just met I was extremely jealous, who was she going out with and why not me?! She walked with me to the coat check and we said good night, I acted like I had important places to be, but as she walked away she looked back at me and said something sassy and my heart started going and I knew I was in love! That was the party of 2002.
Last night's party was not as good. I was just happy I didn't crash my car on the ice.

Hahaha. That made me laugh. If I was home I would roll on the floor. I am at the place where they take christmas pictures! It is pure hell! If your kid screams while they attempt to take a picture take said kid outside and calm them. Standing here waiting to be called is worse when someone is screaming!!!!

I hope Roy is not going to be in the picture.
I woke up to lots of snow and ice this morning, and no power. (no coffee!) I went outside and scraped my car thinking I could find a coffee shop or something, but as I drove around town I realized nobody had any power in the whole town and everything was closed! I came back feeling very irritable and had nothing to do so I wrapped christmas presents by the window to kill time. Finally my power came back on but the cable went out. Now my cable is back on but my cell phone is down. On a positive note, I bought some candy canes for my christmas tree, they look good and are delicious.
