Insane in the Maine
It's so warm and cozy in my house right now, I don't want to leave. Outside: Below zero.
Supposed to go running, still working on my speed. No choice, I'm meeting someone at the track. It's not really below zero but it definitely feels that way. I'll wear gloves.
The good thing is once we get started we'll warm up quick, and before long it will be over and I'll come back here and cozy up again.
Winter in Maine. I could think of better things.
***
I felt good before and I didn't want to leave, but now I'm done and I'm so glad I did it and I feel even better.
Walking out the door is the toughest part of a run.
Either that or the part where your legs are like jelly and you taste metal and you are frozen and hot at the same time.
I like the part at the end where there are a few stairs between the track and the parking lot and they almost make you fall down.
1) Keep promises, especially ones made to yourself.
2) Don’t wait for perfect weather.
And now...
1) Shower.
2) Book.
3) Something to eat.

Just finished making Lu's costumes! Off to bed - I am exhausted!!! What will you be for Halloween?

8:30 AM, just got home from work. Wow, I was busy and now I'm ready for bed! I wonder what costume you made for Luna? Let me guess, something from HS musical I bet. She should be a devil!
I really want to see you in your costume. Is it scandalously tight? Are there small pieces of leather/fabric involved? You can't imagine the things I would like to do with you, I never met anyone as sexy.
I don't know my plan at the moment. I might end up taking some children trick or treating I think, but first I must sleep. (The children are not mine.)
Did you see my brother on tv this week? I have the feeling you missed my comment about that, I know you've been terribly busy. Don't forget, you always have a place to get away, Maine is very nice inside my apartment.

I didn't see him! What was he on? Maybe I can still see it.
Lu was a Christmas Fairy for school (had to dress like one of the book characters) and she was a vampire for the "real" halloween. I made both costumes! I have no sewing machine and it took forever. I am still tired. I didn't dress up because we got home after midnight from trick or treating. Too tired. Only had 3 hour of sleep because of Lu's costumes. I missed Halloween. Sucks.
I am going to a birthday party tonight and I might dress up just because. Even though it is a regular kids party. I lost my car key and had to take a cab. Costs $300 to replace it. Damn. I hope I find it. I am really pissed.
Are you picking up kids from the trailer park? Who are these kids? Did you dress up? Were you Reacher?

What's up with freak Cro people? There is a woman here with a 2 year old son and he has a pierced ear. WTF? Kids way too young to have a pierced ear. I want to ask her what bug got into her head to make her do that but that might be rude. Is it?
Bought the littlest pet shop game for WII for Lu and Nicole. Then I bought some music game (the one on commercials) that looks really cool. Spent money. It is her birthday present. Now I just have to hide it until then! Of course when she sees Nica's game at her party today, she will be PISSED. Ugh. Gotta do some more shopping now. I don't feel like walking though and I have no car to drive!!! This sucks. I have become a real American and have learned that I should take my car everywhere because walking a mile to the store has become a "hassle". I am embarassed. (Hangs head in shame and wipes a tear).

His part was small but he did a great job, he's doing pretty well out there. Went to work in his agent's office so he's getting lots of auditions, smart move.
I'm proud of you for making L's costumes yourself, and with no sewing machine! I tried to sew last week, the zipper broke and I tried to sew it back, took me half an hour and looks like Frankenstein. Sigh.
Your car key must have a chip inside, that's why it's so expesnsive. Mine are the same way, I keep a spare in the house. Darling, where is your spare? Please do not Americanize yourself. Soon you will be eating too much and complaining too often and enjoying reality television shows and becoming lazy in general. What a lovely reputation Americans have. I like the Cro in you. Seriously, don't lose it. It's SOOOO charming!!!
Was I Reacher?!! HA! Great idea, M. I'm him every day. Oh, the Patterson book I was working on improved once I got past the terrible editing mistakes. I almost put the book down but I stuck it out and the story brought me back in. Still, pretty weak. I think the Reacher books have spoiled me on Alex Cross. I wish he (Child) would write them faster, like Stephen King, one a week.
A two year old boy with a pierced ear, that's bad. They must be Croatian rednecks. Did he also have a mullet? I am suprised that you held your tongue, that is not like you. Have a great time at the party tonight, I wish I could go with you.

so what was he on? I will never watch reality TV - it is for idiots, no excuses.
I am sorry to admit that I bought the book twilight last night and I didn't sleep. I stayed up all night to finish it. It is about vampires and an easy read and I enjoyed it...the book is written for teenagers (shudder). I want to get the second part but I cannot do it tonight because I have to sleep!
Also, I heard the tenth circle is disturbing (teenage sex in suburbia) Suzi told me about it (she will give me the book next week) and it seems like kids do everything younger now and to an extreme. Ridiculous and stupid.
So anyway, what was your costume and who are the children you went tricking with?

Bros show info here... Will write more later, getting extremely tired and need to rest these eyes they are seriously burning owie... about the kids I told you no woman has a chance that is still true, just a couple rapscallions belonging to a woman who wishes to be my assistant but I told her I'm not hiring.
The Tenth Circle is about Mainers.

how did you turn my words into hyperlinks? I want to be able to do that. Then I can show off!!! (you know, like you)
Posted on November 3, 2008 7:28 PM
Excuse me, I would never show off! Unfortunately the way to do it is long and boring to explain. Darling, it is so cold here. I don't want to go outside anymore. You're the one who shows off, looking pretty all the time, making me think about you, you're a showoff.

I am not posting anymore until you write something new. Who is this that wants an assistant position?
