Bad pie

I have the worst pie ever, it tastes like chocolate. Not that I have a problem with chocolate. I like chocolate. But this is a pecan pie. Chocolate doesn't belong in my pecan pie. Highly suspect. I wouldn't say I've had a good pie since moving here.

You're just being cranky! Make your own pie and impress the trailer park.

...And how was your week?? I have drama everywhere.

I saw your comment and read all your news, all I can say is WOW. (Decided not to post it because it seemed personal.) The MTV thing is hilarious, he sounds like a winner and so does she.
What did you tell me about making people cry? We are not supposed to do that. What an idiot though, he brought it all on himself. FOOL.
I want pie. Making brownies instead, I smell them and they smell delicious.
I volunteered to help at a race on Saturday morning but they didn't get back to me so I volunteered at another one on Sunday, then today they both got back to me. Oh no! I guess I'll do both, or I could cancel the Saturday one since he took so long to reply.

I am swamped at work and there is ongoing closet construction at my house. It is becoming ridiculous!!! I have no peace. I am going shopping on my way home to make myself feel better! How was your weekend?

Good luck with your shopping, if you need any help with that I can be of use to you, I am very good at it now. Good is an overstatement but I can carry your things. Also you can try things on for me and I will try not to drool or stutter very much. I hope you feel better.
I had a nice weekend. Did not go out, just stayed home and cooked and ate and watched some movies. On Sunday I volunteered at the 8k race. It was very cold (27!), and I was at the finish line trying to punch everyone's bib number into a machine and click the button when they crossed the line, but my fingers were frozen and useless. They had free coffee so I was all set, just sipping away, fat fingering the buttons.
Yesterday I went out running with a group of guys, quarter mile sprints. I had a metal taste in my mouth and I thought I might possibly throw up at any second, but I did great. I'm trying to win those turkeys! I was shooting for a 17 minute 5k but now I think 17 minutes is not going to cut it. 16 is the number. Ridiculously fast.
I'm busy at work too, lots happening right now and the weekends are never long enough. I feel your pain but at least nobody is banging around in my closets when I get home. You may come for a visit if you like, and you can move in.
Reading an old Patterson book right now, Pop Goes the Weasel. Got the hard cover from the used book store for four bucks. I love that store! I will take you there when you come visit me, it's right across from the trailer park.
