Roadkill
Getting better at running the hills now. It's easier when you know they're there, it's when they're a surprise that they break your heart. The other thing which broke my heart was a dead skunk on the track. I was not sad because there was a dead animal, it was the disgusting smell I was forced to inhale deeply over and over again for a half mile each way which broke me down. I started chanting in my head, "I could do without the skunk, I could do without the skunk." My thoughts fall into rhythm when I'm running. Speaking of road kill, I know a Mainer who told me he has eaten it before. I almost peed myself when he said it. He said," Do you think that's weird?" In his mind it was okay because he saw the animal get struck and he pulled over immediately and threw it into the truck, so it was fresh. I don't remember what type of animal he said it was.
It's a gorgeous day, I want to be outside. Going back out now...

Life is getting more interesting in ME. Roadkill. It's what's for dinner. Mmmmmhm.
Last day of Cro school yesterday. We are going to Cro graduation now and then onto tanning. I have to get dark. I am embarassingly pale. I tanned yesterday in 95 weather, and guess what - I did NOT tan at all. Or burn. Like I wasn't even in the sun.
Did you get a tan yet from running? Is it really hot there too. 95 again today! Yay! Bring on the sun!!!

Good morning. I have a pot of coffee coming up and it smells soooooooooo good. I'm getting excited. Congratulations on finishing Cro school, now what will you do with you Saturdays all summer? I'm not dark either, I don't spend as much time outside as I did in Florida but I do get some sun when running, and I got some at the bbq last week but that's about it. Looks like another beautiful day today, not 95 but I'd say mid 80's. Better than when I first moved here and I was mad every day because it was so gross outside! Maybe now that cro school is over you can come visit me on Saturdays?

Would you cook roadkill? That might make if very very hard to say no.
This is the only free weekend I have and I have to finish cleaning out my closets. Next weekend is Lu's recital and the weekend after that she is going to Cro. I have to pack her.
Anything good this weekend for you?

mmm, delicious road kill. When that guy told me that he ate it I could not stop laughing, I was crying from laughing too hard and the guy was like, uhhh.... I guess you think its weird.
I'm going to finish my coffee and then go out to the pool this morning. I've been getting some sun this week and I'm starting to look sexy. There's a lady at the pool who stares when she thinks I'm not looking. Going to fininsh my Reacher book today as well. (Called Persuader, it was good as usual.) I ordered some adidas pants online and I got them last night and opened them up and they are tiny, like kids pants even though I ordered XL. I have to return them that is going to be a hassle.
Did you see Tim Russert died yesterday? I'm sad about that, I liked him a lot. He was only 58.
I finished my leadership class, it was actually a really good class. Glad its over though, back to work on Monday. Meanwhile I plan to take it easy this weekend, eat some food and watch some movies and finish my book.
Oh, I heard the news that Matty is expecting another baby. He doesn't know what sex it is yet, they are three months along.
