Portland

Didn't make it to the art museum today. I went ahead with the assumption that nothing would be open after I phoned my barber and they were closed, but the day was gorgeous and I had to get out so I went for a run on the Portland Marathon course.
I had trouble with my GPS and almost threw it into the river. It gave me grief during the marathon last year and was useless except as a stopwatch, and I found myself having the same problems today. I ran with it anyway (for the stopwatch) and finally when the run was over it asked me, "Have you moved hundreds of miles since last use?" Errr, yeah. Maybe that was the problem? I will give it the benefit of the doubt and take it again next time but any more trouble out of that thing and it's going in the river. Anyway, it should have figured out I had moved before the run, not after.
The course is hard. Big hills. Scary to think of doing a marathon there, I haven't ruled it out but I haven't yet committed.
Attempted a car wash afterwards but the line was long and not moving so I furiously reversed out of the line and came back home to do more laundry and eat cookies.
