Picture post- Maine
Near my apartment is a giganic wooden Indian. I am unsure of the purpose or the political correctness of this feature.
There is an LL Bean store which is open 24/7. It is huge. I went in and walked around for a half hour and then left before seeing the whole thing because I couldn't find a flannel shirt and got annoyed.

Starbucks looks like this:

This is the main road leading into town, look at the old fashioned style.

Ice cream, beer, and a coffee shop on this corner. Notice everone drives minivans, not subarus.

Just a random cafe, there is outdoor seating and people eating lunch outside. A beautiful day!

Okay, this is McDonalds.

There is a fat guy coming out of the chocolate store.

This street is lined with retail outlets, anything you can imagine. They all look like houses!

I know you like the Gap.

Here is the bread store, it is called When Pigs Fly and there is a flying pig on the awning.

That house is a chocolate factory!

Purple house.

This is a coffee stand with a cow sitting inside a coffee mug on the roof. Perfectly normal.

This diner claims to have the best lobster in Maine. It is packed at six in the morning when I drive by on my way to work. I want to stop in for breakfast someday.

Old church on the outskirts of Brunswick, the town where I work.

Suburbia.

Very wide road and normally lots of foot traffic around here, college kids. The pedestrians walk around like they own the place and you have to stop to let them go. It is difficult for sightseeing without running them down.

This place also claims to have the best lobster in Maine. Clearly somebody is lying.

Looking down main street:

Mango gelato.

Scary wooden bridge.

I haven't learned the name of this river yet but it's beautiful.

I tried to snap this photo as I drove by, the road on that bridge is made of wood and there is only room for one car at a time even though it is not a one way street. I am afraid to drive my car on it.
