Thanksgiving 07
On television I saw a Fischer Price toy with a bike that your kid rides in front of the tv like a video game, and I thought hey thats cool. Then I second guessed it: when we were kids we had real bikes that we took outside and rode around town, and if we jerked the handlebars like a maniac like that kid is doing, we would wreck and bleed and we liked it.
As for the Thanksgiving cooking situation: I already made the stuffing and the green bean casserole. Stuffing is good but I f'd the casserole away. Put too much milk in it and it's too soupy, not horrible though- I will have to serve it in a bowl. I have been snacking all day and I'm not the least bit hungry now. I had chocolate and toast and jam and the whole container of strawberries with yogurt and maple syrup. I am craving sweets and now I want ice cream.

I was wrong about the green bean casserole, it set up fine and turned out to be the best thing I made. Ham was a good choice, so easy and no fear of fire yet it still feels traditional. My store-bought gravy was a disgusting mistake, I will never do that again. I did not save it for leftovers. Garbage. The garlic mashed potatoes had plenty of flavor on their own and tasted much better after I ate all the nasty gravy off them. Now I am very full. It is almost ice cream time.
The one thing I forgot: pumpkin pie. How could I forget the pie?!
Go Cowboys.
