Overload
I went out to pick up Thanksgiving supplies and again a random person stopped to tell me how smokin hot my car is etc. I love that, don't tell anyone. Picked up fresh strawberries to replace the ones from my fruit debacle last weekend and Irish butter to investigate the hype re: a piece of toast with Irish butter and jam, it sounds spectacular to me. Tomorrow I'll make ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, green bean casserole, the regular routine minus a turkey plus lots of ice cream.
You may remember my gripe about the grocery store bagger offering my candy bar to me in line rather than bagging it with my groceries. This happened again as usual but even though I said no he bagged all my stuff and left the candy bar sitting out alone next to the bags, which proves that he obviously does not value his life.
I am supposed to be coasting through my last few months here but it is not working out that way, instead I'm getting piled on. I am operating at full capacity and even very small things that are added onto my load seem big and out of proportion. The marathon will be out of the way after this weekend, that is a start.
