You can barely get a drink at a club because the bar staff is hired on ass tightness over bartending skill, the women would rather dance with each other than with the men, and you have to shout to make yourself heard because the music is always way to fucking loud, so I don't do that.
Bars are okay, but there is a point where it's no longer cute or fun to be a regular, and I can't remember the last time I met a decent female in a bar because it's never happened, no offense to the bar girls I've dated but there is a reason it didn't work out and it's you, not me.
I have a little argument with myself before I go out at night. Am I really going to have that much fun? Am I going to be okay to drive? Do I want to risk a DUI? Or would I rather save my money and get a good night's sleep and wake up with no hangover? Sometimes I'm stir crazy or my testosterone is too high and I have to get out, but mostly the hangover argument wins me over and I sit home on Friday and Saturday nights. That's what I did last weekend.
Someone called me last Friday night after I'd already settled my one sided argument, I dumped the call. Woke up early Saturday morning and went to the beach with a book instead of a buddy because I am the only single guy I know in the state of Florida. Didn't touch a drop of alcohol, no urge. I wouldn't have minded some company at the beach, I admit. It's boring to sit out there alone all day, but still better then being uselessly hungover.

Oooh you ARE an old man! Just kidding. I would like to stay home one Saturday. Unfortunately social schedule of a certain 6 year old prohibits that. I am now cleaning out closets. I got into a mode and I can't stop. The light is not making Roy and the little one happy. Too bad. That's what they get for having late night concerts in my bedroom while I am working. I am getting excited about the game this weekend. I can't wait to watch them play. I think I am going to Virginia Beach instead of Myrtle Beach. Is that better? Hope your happy and doing well.
