Judge not

For some reason I bought Tang. Also two kinds of ice cream, oreos, peaches, and spinach for the offset. I thought maybe nobody would notice how much sugar I was purchasing if I put frozen spinach right out in front.
If I bring too much junk to the cashier I get embarrassed, when I buy healthy foods I feel superior. I compete with the other shoppers.
If I see that their choices are better than mine in some way I make a mental note to get those items next time, if I can figure out how they are used.
I spent ten minutes staring blankly at a pack of flax seeds before putting them back after I saw a fit looking woman with those in her cart.
If my choices look better than theirs, I become arrogant and nasty. "That's right, go ahead and look. I have all healthy choices here. What's that you have, cake mix and frozen dinners? Hmm." Then I fold my arms across my chest in disapproval.

Do you really do that? I know this may sound radical but people in line may not care about what you have in your cart. That is so odd. You should take a look at my cart. Everything imaginable is in there!I've been hanging out with too many babies lately. I am starting to think I want one (gasp!).
It has been very busy at work and I spent most of my day dealing with the Federal Government (who were actually very nice) but I had a ton of work waiting for me so I am not in the best of moods at the moment. Anything interesting happen today?
I am going to see Tool this weekend in AC. I cannot wait !!!
And, I don't know if you can handle this, I got suite tickets for the Yankees/Mets game in two weeks!!!! Oh, the Mets are so gonna lose two games but it will be fun just being there! I wonder who else will be in the suite with us. Last year, a hard core Yankees fan was in the suite and he got kicked out after the first inning. He was not happy about not being allowed back in.

After such a busy day at work I would relax you with a nice glass of red wine and a body rub, then I'd tackle you and make a baby.
That's what I'd do.
I had to do a funeral today, I wore my bellbottoms and they took lots of pictures and an old lady said, "hey good lookin," and winked at me. Then the funeral home lady made us cookies but I didn't eat any because she made them in a funeral home.
How do you like your new hair? I bet it's sexy.
cmok
ps I will be in an insanely jealous rage the whole time you are in AC, not because of Tool (I care not) but because I would love to be there with you. I am not joking. Rage.

Rage? I think I am flattered but I don't think that is good. Yes I will be in AC living it up for a night. I will even gamble. Maybe I will won tons of money.
Have you seen the Yankees play? They are an embarassement! Even if they won every game they wouldn't catch up to the Red Sox (at least I think). Shame shame shame
I need a back rub. I am sitting on the terrace drinking wine and reading my book. I think I have 10 min of alone time left before something happens in the house.
Everyone likes the hair. Apparently the bangs are flattering. I think I might cut it a little shorter next time.

The Yankees are terrible, thank goodness they are not on tv tonight so I don't have to suffer.
It sounds nice, sitting out there with a glass of wine, the peace and quiet. I wish I could join you.
That is my one wish.
What book are you reading, would I like it?

Posted on June 5, 2007 8:44 PM

I am reading The Husband by Dean Koontz. Very interesting. I think you would like it.
It is not really a love story but you might want to read it in secret because it looks like one. Trouble calls. Gotta go. Good night K.

Is that the one where the guy's wife gets ransomed for millions of dollars even though the guy is broke and then he has to figure out a way to get the money? That sounds good. I'd rob a bank for you.
I will read that book in secret, which means I can't take it to the beach. Maybe I could rip the cover off or make a brown-bag book cover like in school.
There's another new Koontz book out called The Good Guy, I think I'll get that too.

Your alone time did not last very long. (pout)

Sweet dreams m, goodnight (good morning).

I am back outside sneaking a cigarette. Yep that's the book. He didn't rob a bank he did other things like sell his body (just kidding).
I want to get the good guy too. Maybe next week. I have a couple of other books to read.
How is Tang? I heard that it is similar to this Cro vitamin drink that is very good.
I am still excited about my AC expedition. I was told that we are getting rooms at the Borgata but I won't believe that until I see some written confirmation. I have a feeling I will spend the night sleeping in my truck. I guess that wouldn't be so bad since I will only be in the room for a couple of hours.

Not that I'm in denial, but there are some things that I refuse to think about. Hotel rooms, for example. Ugh. Anyway...
I left work at noon today and went to a baseball game, are you jealous? Just got back, I am having some Tang :) It's good but I bet the Cro drink is better.

The Super Target store near my house has wide, luxurious aisles. It has a fresh, clean smell. It has less hillbillies than Walmart and a nice selection of curtains. Not the place to do your book shopping. They have three rows of Rachel Ray cookbooks, one Dean Koontz paperback from two years ago, and a row of coloring books.
I left empty handed and I lost the shopping competition.
Have a great time in Atlantic City, bring your pepper spray! xo

I am so excited to go. I am going apartment watching tomorrow morning while Roy has his golf competition. Then I am going to endure something painful called Brazilian Wax. Ich. Then I will come home and get ready for my AC trip. No pepper spray. I will be at a concert. Then I will attempt to gamble. Roy claims he can teach me poker on the way to AC. I don't believe him. We will see. We had a fun night meaning we got to hang out with adults and kids. A simple dinner turned into dessert and coffee and wine in the backyard. I am tired. I have to do some work then I will go to bed. I love going to Target. It may be one of my favorite stores (together with Tiffany Coach and Adrienne vittadini). Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

I am never going to figure out what apartment watching is, but I am extremely jealous of Roy due to the brazilian wax situation. Good luck at the tables, I hope you win lots of money! You will be sorry you didn't bring the pepper spray when all the men can't keep their eyes off you in the casino with your sexy new hair!
