Chips = not a good pot luck item
I had flip flops with me but I wore them in the shower at the gym this morning so I left them in my car to decontaminate, and I ran in my white socks so they were unusable, and all I had left was one pair of black socks which I was forced to wear with shorts after work. Also: busy as hell. Oh and we had a pot luck lunch which I didn't know about until this morning because I was away at class last week. Everything I suggested that I could bring was already taken by someone else so they told me to just get chips, then at lunch nobody ate any of my damn chips. I yelled at them to eat my chips but there were no takers, including myself. Someone else brought KFC, wtf?

I am not sure what potluck is but maybe you should have brought an ice cream cake or dessert instead. Sounds like you had a good time - where there a lot of people there?
I went apt watching again and I just got back. Some of the places are hideous. Some are very nice. I convinced Roy that we need a new kitchen. I simply didn't cook for three days. Now I get to knock down a wall and build one of those kitches with a curving high bar table. Whoo hoo. I am so excited. I will do it while the little one is in Croatia (I also promised not to go to Vegas alone with Suzi). He seems to think I wouldn't come back to him. I got a trip to Tampa. I think he's ok with that because I would be visiting mt friends who have three kids. But I think maybe I will drive to Miami instead (with Suzi). He-he. We will see what happens I am willing to give up every weekend and long trip planned for the new kitchen. I told him if he is worried about the cost he should just go strip at gay clubs but he refuses to do it. I would have no problem with that and am trying to be encouraging but I don't think it is working. I offered to strip but he got very upset. I don't get it.

Potluck is when everybody brings one dish to eat and you put it all out on the table and try different things. I would have brought dessert but someone else was already bringing that! It's okay I skated out of it with minimal effort and I only spent like four dollars so I shouldn't complain.
I like the way you manipulated your situation by refusing to cook, you are evil. I was going to say grozna cura but I wasn't sure about the translation. Anyway that will give you something to occupy yourself while L is away, that's just what you needed.
I'm happy for you.

Oh okay, I was trying to say that you were an evil woman but it a jokey way- I knew I had to be careful or I might accidentally say something nasty which I didn't mean. Attemting new languages can be embarrassing. The whole time I lived in Spain all I learned was hola and baño but now I'm a big boy and not afraid to try.

That's good for you. Where are you learning this obscure Cro language?

I bought a book and CD's, part of my old MP.
