Windblown sexy
I ran in the rain yesterday, a few miles on the beach. It was fun, and refreshing. I had a good hair day after that, somehow the rain and the wind styled me up real good and I got compliments so I decided to take advantage of it and flirt with this woman at work who is married and old but still looks good. I think she wanted to touch. This is the way I amuse myself.
In other news, I fried something for dinner tonight and I was going to be tough and leave the baking soda in the pantry but I panicked when the oil popped and I set it out on the counter after all.
I've been reading my book but I get easily distracted by things such as feeling guilted because I haven't made a post in two days. I got ahead of the plot a couple times and figured out some of the answers and then couldn't decide if my intelligence was being insulted by the fact that this asshole Lee Child didn't think I already knew, but it's fun. I'll try to finish it tonight, Agh I just realized The Office is on tonight YAY!!! I almost missed it. (Easily distracted.)
So: Flirting with old ladies, scaring myself while I prepare my meals, thinking books are fun, and saying YAY in capital letters because of a tv show featuring a girl who reminds me of a girl I used to know.
I should not be left alone.

You're right. You should not be left alone. You should not tease older married women. One of them might wait for you after work one day. Then what will you do?
I have tests this week and next. I am swamped. I need a real vacation.
It is very good that you tried using oil without baking soda. Definitely a noble attempt. You get cookie points. I am going to watch the Mets this weekend. I hope they kick butt.
I am going on a diet next week. I decided I will lose 15 lbs. I will wear size 0. I am curious to see how that will look.
Gotta run for the train and clean my apt when I get home. I refuse to clean the balcony this late at night. I will do it tomorrow.
I have to go to Tiffany's tomorrow. My best friends daughter is having a party on Sat and it seems 9 year olds are wearing necklaces from Tiffany. Ridiculous. I will be very upset if she loses it right away.

At least you're not spoiling her.
I am distraught over the news that you've sided with the Mets. I will block that image from my head and pretend I never heard that. Very bad girl. Also, what makes you think you need to diet? You're stunning.
I don't expect you back here tonight but I like to say goodnight anyway.
Goodnight.

Good night K. I cleaned. I put a load to wash and now I will eat dinner. I think I will go on the balcony for that. I will read my book and then study. If I am luck and inspired and finish editing my paper I will be in bed by 2. I also have to go grocery shopping. I was informed that I will bake for the party. Over 40 people. So maybe I'll do that first. Checkout lines are nonexistent this late and since I will be baking well into the night tomorrow I won't have time to shop then. I am tired and all I wanna do is sleep.
Yep. I love the Mets. I think I am getting a Mets sweatsuit for Mother's Day. : )
It will be pink or so I was told in secret.
Gotta run now. I haven't eaten since 1 and I am famished.
Did you use the crock pot?

I am saving the crock pot for tomorrow (Saturday). I plan to go to the grocery store tonight and get everything I need for pot roast, and I'll get it going in the morning and then spend the day at the beach. Unless I am afraid to leave the house with it on. Which I will be.
You are overworked, why? There is no reason for that. School I can understand, but baking for 40 on short notice and midnight trips to the grocery store after a long day, I don't condone it. You should be pampered when you come home after a day like that, maybe a nice bath and a massage. From me. Not Roy. And Tiffany necklaces for babies? No. I think the loser Mets are playing the Yankees next weekend, and it's on tv too. The Yankees are in luck 'cuz the Mets suck. You would look MUCH sexier in a pink Yankees suit but whatever. My feet hurt I'm going to walk in the water.

You are too funny. Who is Roy? I will check out your girl's speech. Maybe I will have an epiphany.
I got her a necklace from Tiffany. It is really cute - sort of heart shaped and it says return to tiffany on it. Cute - I am sure it will be loved. If I had gone to buy something else I would have probably ended up spending more and it wouldn't be what she wanted. So there. Maybe I am a label whore.
I already told you - Mets are my boys!!!!! We have people coming from Boston and NJ to watch the game. I will be in a loge. You might see me on TV. I could make it happen at Shea but am not sure if I have the pull to do it ay Yankee stadium.
So tomorrow you will be at home all day cooking? That sucks - you should be at the beach enjoying sun and sand. I still have to go grocery shopping tonight and then I will bake unbelievable delicious out of this world creations. (I am modest about my baking ability).

I will miss out on that in this lifetime. That really sucks bad.
Like the Mets.
You know who Roy is. I call him that.

Why Roy? Could you pick a nicer name please? Roy sounds like a geek with no social life.
What is it you'll miss out on?
I didn't get Pam's speech at all. Maybe I should start watching the show. Did you finish the book?

On the show, Roy is the other guy, the wrong guy, the guy she was with. I hate that guy.
I didn't get a chance to finish the book last night, but tonight I definitely will. I'm right at the end, they already found Taylor.
I was vague but I meant that I'll miss out on your baking, it is one of the many things I will miss. I know it's good.

I will send you some the next time I am in FL. You may not like it. "Roy" doesn't like everything I make. Apparently fish with mayo glaze is not his thing. Go figure.
I have to send you cookies since the rest of the stuff would melt.

LOL you did not make fish with mayo glaze, but you know what? I would have eaten it.
Posted on May 11, 2007 4:26 PM
Yes, I made fish with mayo glaze. It was good. It was grouper with a glaze made out of basically mayo and parmesan. I guess it doesn't sound too appetizing but it wasn't bad. I think the orange glaze with grouper is definitely better. Especially with an orange and greens, citruc dressing salad. I cook well. Maybe I'll write a book.

I miss you so much.
