A new leaf
"Read over your compositions and, when you meet a passage which you think is particularly fine, strike it out."
-Samuel Johnson.
First I'd like to say that its almost as if my barber has no business cutting people's hair at all.
For some reason I've been looking for a wife lately, but that plan has been aborted. Mission cancelled. I've changed my mind. I'm too old and too tired, and too wise. I've given up on all my notions and fantasies of love and romance, they are only illusions, selfish dreams of spoiled children with too much of a sense of entitlement and not enough experience.
How do you like that. Another side of the new leaf I continue to turn.
I've remembered how cool I am and I am becoming reacquainted with and readjusted to that idea. My loafers have no tassles. And that's the end of my story.
