Frankly Ive been too busy
My name is K and I'm a bad shopper.
Its been 8 days since my last post.
Christmas time has arrived and it is making me a busy, busy boy.
Man.
I still have not been able to sort out my christmas givins' for the upcoming debacle (only 12 days away) and I am beginning to panic. What worries me is not the fact that I haven't yet begun my shopping, but the idea of tackling it alone this year without female guidance and support. Women are excellent shoppers. Me: not so much.
I accepted a commission for a painting some time ago and the thing is that its not done yet. I need to get it out before Christmas so some other guy will have a nice gift for his loved one. The further problem is that I've already cashed the check so there's no backing out and oil paint dries really slow, and man I don't know if I have the time. You can see my problem.
Andy showed me a copy of the Onion a few weeks ago, he wanted to point out the best headline ever, "Ashcroft loses job to Mexican." Under that, though, was a picture of an office-guy flexing his biceps while talking to his female coworker and the headline, "Man breaks down his workout routine." It wasn't that funny except that it resembles this one guy we both know who does that all the time and its annoying, so whatever.
Later the next night, the subject of workout routines somehow inexplicably came up naturally between us, and Andy began to break down his methodology. When we both realized what was happening he stopped and couldn't continue. It was too ridiculous to go on. I was genuinely interested in what he had to say but it was not sayable that night so I just missed out.
So here's my breakdown on the running. 5 miles a day? That's so last week. Today, six miles. I am cool. From now on 6 a day. yeeah.
News if ya know me:
1) Matt's recording studio is almost done. All that's left is the window between the live room and the engineering booth and a paint job. I predict that it will be completely finished on the day that I ship out. It'll be there when I get back.
2) My fantasy football team is no longer in first place but I have been overtaken by a great friend. Brandon, who is the only guy I went to high school with that I still know has taken the title. Temporarily. You are going down my brother.
3) I'm going take myself on a date tonight, I wish to see the christmas tree at Rockefeller Center before I leave this city next month. I will be sad to go.
