Things I know
I may not know much, but I have learned a few things over the years and here they are in no particular order:
Do the right thing.
Accept responsibility for your actions.
Read.
Have strength of character.
Go ahead and spend the extra few bucks for decent beer.
Leave a nice tip.
Get to work on time.
If your shirt looks clean to you but you've been wearing it all day, don't wear it out at night. She'll notice.
Pick up the tab.
Never lie.
Trust your instincts.
Excercise makes you feel better.
In this world, you need money.
A woman will change her mind.
Blue and black do not match. I can't understand it but I'm told its true.
Racism is ignorance.
Guinness makes you smarter.
Knocking somebody out feels good but don't do it.
First kisses are incredible.
Don't smile to yourself on the subway.
Have some pride in your work.
Contribute something.
Know when to move on.
Don't believe the hype.
True friends are rare, treat them like brothers.
Don't burn your bridges.
Be a man.
Know when to keep your mouth shut.
All people are not good on the inside.
Don't take points off the board.
Hold your liquor.
Put a little baby powder down the front of your pants.
Don't be that guy.
Its the thought that counts.
Timing is everything.
Learn from your mistakes.
Strengthen your willpower.
Don't drunk dial.
Don't look at other women when you're on a date.
Have some manners.
Maintain your cool.
Treat her right.
